Headingley Festival of Ideas Years 10 & 11 Debating Competition Final 2016

Date: Wednesday 23 March 2016.

Venue: Shire Oak Room, HEART Centre, Bennett Road, Headingley

Time: 3:30pm to 7:30pm

Leeds Salon hosts the third Headingley Festival of Ideas schools debating competition for years 10 & 11 (ages 14 to 16 years).

This year's finallists are made up of the three Festival of Ideas qualifying round winners, and the winners of the new Tetley competition for south and central Leeds schools - making it an all-Leeds event for the first time.

The competition uses the format of the Institute of Ideas sixth-form Debating Matters competition - which emphasises content over presentational style. The event is free and open to the public but, as places are limited, if you wish to attend please e-mail us at contact@leedssalon.org.uk
