Dr Gabriella Alberti is an Associate Professor in Work and Employment Relations  and researcher at the Centre for Employment Relations Innovation and Change at Leeds University Business School. She is also co-founder of the University’s Leeds Migration Research Network and a board member of Leeds Social Science Institute. Gabriella is currently PI on the ESRC-funded research project Labour Mobility in Transition: a multi-actor study of the re-regulation of migrant work in ‘low-skilled’ sectors which explores employers and workers responses to changing labour migration post-Brexit and Covid-19, including labour substitution and automation strategies in warehousing, food manufacturing, social care and hospitality.
