Ruby Hornsby is a WRoCAH funded PhD student at the Inter-Disciplinary Ethics Applied (IDEA) Centre at the University of Leeds, working in the area of Ethics of Social Robotics. Ruby is currently researching the nature of human-robot relationships to determine whether robot companions have a place in the good human life. She is also interested in the ethics of sex robots, ancient philosophy and applied ethics more generally.
